Making a Pixel Quilt by Dee Bushrod.

This workshop is an introduction to sewing pixel quilts using 2 techniques. Participants will be taught both techniques whilst putting together a pixel 9 block project enabling them to distinguish which method they prefer before attempting their own pixel quilt. This workshop covers cutting the fabric, piecing in both ways makes between 1-9 blocks (it’s a marathon not a sprint!). Depending on the size of the class, participants will have an opportunity to work one on one with Dee for up to 30 minutes to create their own pixel quilt pattern.

Kits are $30 and can be purchased from Dee at the workshop. The workshop is based on 9 blocks from the full quilt, and those 9 blocks are what the kit will contain to complete (not the full quilt!). Each participant in the workshop will get a PDF of the full pattern after the class.

NOTE: Quiltsmart 1.5" pixel grid is required. Full Supply List.
