Membership
Membership in the Chisholm Trail Quilt Guild is open to anyone interested in quilts -- beginning, intermediate, and advanced quilters, as well as collectors and admirers. Monthly guild meeting provide an opportunity for quilt enthusiasts to enjoy fellowship, fun, speakers and programs covering many aspects of quilting. All kinds of quilters are welcome - traditional, art, modern and others.
Please feel free to attend two of our meetings as our guest.
Membership runs from July 1st to June 30th. Both new and long-time members need to complete a Membership Form and pay the annual dues specified on the form. Completed membership forms, with dues, can be brought to a guild meeting or mailed to the address at the top of the membership form.
Benefits of Joining
• Monthly meetings with information and entertaining educators and demos.
Meetings are preceded by an informal social time.
Come a bit early and visit with other members, sign up for guild activities and partake of items from the Free Table [members only].
Meetings feature "show and tell" which spotlights your work and that of your fellow members.
• Workshops featuring hands-on participation in a variety of quilting
techniques.
• The Newsletter will keep you up to date on guild activities, list nearby quilt shows, outline upcoming programs and workshops, congratulations when members win awards in other quilt shows, tips/tricks/technique links and so much more.
• A Yearbook listing of the guild officers, bees, history and other information.
• An up-to-date Roster listing guild member information. This is available via a password protected Members Only area.
• Ability to join a Bee for friendship, learning and mentoring.
• A guild-sponsored Quilt Show, with a boutique featuring member-made items, Granny's Attic which sells gently used items and a Silent Auction area with quilts, kits and higher priced items. Over 200 quilts are displayed and 15+ vendors selling fabric/notions/machines and more.
• Our Community Service charities are Linus Connection, Patriotic Quilters and Quilts for Cops [and other first responders, including our K9 officers].
